Fiberglass mesh
Two types of fibreglass mesh made of particularly thin, flat and flexible fibreglass, used to reinforce the substrate before the microcement application.. Both product variants effectively prevent the penetration of cracks from the concrete substrate to the microcement surface. The given price is for 1m2 of the selected mesh.

FAQs
Why use fiberglass mesh?
Fiberglass mesh is used to reinforce the substrate under microcement, especially when there are small cracks or a risk of them forming. It increases the stability and durability of the entire microcement system.
Can fiberglass mesh be used on all types of surfaces?
Yes, mesh is suitable for reinforcing most common building substrates for microcement, such as concrete, cement-lime plaster, or smooth finishes. However, keep in mind that the substrate must be clean, dry, and load-bearing.
What is the difference between SUPER THIN and STANDARD mesh?
SUPER THIN is a thin, highly flexible mesh with a fine mesh size (2×3 mm), ideal for surfaces with corners, stairs, and curves. STANDARD is a more versatile mesh with a larger mesh size (5×5 mm) and higher weight – it works well on flat and less demanding surfaces.
Which mesh should I choose for my project?
Choose SUPER THIN if you are working on complex surfaces (walls, corners) and want maximum flexibility. Choose STANDARD if you want to reinforce a classic floor or a simple wall and are looking for a solid, versatile solution.
How to glue fiberglass mesh? How to install fiberglass mesh under microcement?
The mesh should be spread out on a previously primed surface. There are two ways to glue it, depending on your preference:
1) The first method involves using a primer, FESTFLOOR BAZA or TITAN BASE, depending on the microcement system chosen. The mesh is laid out and cut to fit the shape of the room. Then, the compound is prepared according to the technical data sheet and applied directly to the mesh, blending it into the substrate.
2) The second method uses FestLiquid liquid polymer. The mesh should also be laid out and adjusted to the surface. Before use, FestLiquid should be shaken well, poured into a paint tray and applied with a microfiber roller onto the laid out mesh. Once the polymer has dried, which usually takes 2 to 4 hours, you can proceed with the preparation and application of the primer (FESTFLOOR BASE or TITAN BASE).
Both methods are effective.
