How does Festfloor Life differ from other Festfloor microcements?
Festfloor Life microcement differs primarily in that it is a two-component system that requires independent coloring. It is especially designed for floors and stairs. Is Festfloor Life microcement suitable for use on floors with underfloor heating?
Yes – Festfloor Life has high thermal conductivity, making it ideal for use with underfloor heating. Before applying the microcement, the underfloor heating system should be turned on, tested, and then turned off at least one week in advance.
Is Festfloor Life microcement waterproof and suitable for bathrooms?
Festfloor Life is not waterproof on its own, but when protected with a protective varnish, it becomes resistant to moisture, water, and dirt.
In areas exposed to constant contact with water (e.g., shower enclosures without a shower tray), it is necessary to first completely waterproof the substrate under Festfloor Life microcement.
If you are looking for a microcement that is water-resistant in its mass, choose HydroFest – created especially for bathrooms and wet areas.
What surfaces can Festfloor Life microcement be applied to?
Festfloor Life can be applied to floors, stairs, countertops, furniture, doors, and posts.
What colors are available?
A wide range of colors is available - 18 shades as standard (see the Festfloor Life palette) and customization according to the RAL or NCS color chart is possible.
What is the shelf life of Festfloor Life products?
Products included in the FESTFLOOR Life system can be stored for 12 months in their original sealed packaging in a dry place at temperatures between +10°C and +25°C, away from heat sources. They should also be protected from frost.
Can I apply Festfloor Life microcement on my own?
Yes. If you are new to microcement, we recommend watching our instructional videos (step by step) on YouTube. In addition, we have provided detailed instructions on mixing the components, preparing the substrate, and applying the microcement in the product data sheet available on the product page.
