Bathroom without tiles – microcement shower wall (FESTWALL Life, color GR1)

“Our bathroom with FESTFLOOR” – with these words and a beautiful photo from the bathroom just decorated with microcement, Ms. Aleksandra started a conversation with us on Facebook.

From a short but pleasant conversation we learnt that Mrs. Aleksandra was determined to have a bathroom without tiles. Joints are a nightmare – they get dirty easily, and keeping them in good condition is a real challenge. We are aware of the difficulties created by joints in bathrooms. FESTFLOOR microcement allows you to obtain a uniform, jointless surface on the walls and floors in the bathroom, even directly in the shower.

The client was interested in a concrete look from the beginning. These types of solutions have been known for a long time, however only microcement in wet areas is suitable for use directly under the shower — both on walls and floors. Microcement in the shower — this is it!

Mrs Aleksandra went for an industrial style. A concrete-effect wall fits the concept perfectly. She mixed black fixtures, wooden furniture and industrial lighting, while a walk-in shower with a glass wall emphasized the modern vibe. Do you like it? See photos of the finished bathroom below!

A modern solution in your bathroom – microcement shower wall and floor

Mrs. Aleksandra used FESTWALL Life microcement in color GR1. For this, she purchased one of our ready-made microcement kits. The contractors had no previous experience with microcement technology — after reading the technical data sheet and watching videos on our YouTube channel, they did very well. The surface was protected with PU FEST 2K polyurethane varnish (matt), which makes it easy to clean. We also recommend ordering samples to test the shade under your lighting.
